Domtar Paper in Bennettsville, South Carolina needed a better solution for their Tuthill 600 DI heavy duty pump. This Tuthill pump is instrumental in the process of making high end paper products. For this particular application, this high viscosity, high pressure vacuum pump was on the coating line process which produces the specialty higher gloss magazine stock. The problem they were having was both egress of bearing lubrication and ingress of contamination into the bearing housing.
