Isomag bearing isolators solve bearing contamination issues in vertical pulper gearboxes for paper mills across North America.
The input shaft of vertical pulper gearboxes in paper mills see pulp build-up that is typically removed by heavy wash-down operations. This leads to inevitable bearing contamination. A paper mill in the U.S. addressed this problem and approached Isomag for a solution. The result was a custom Isomag MD V8-XL pulp shearing seal. Since installed in 2015 the customer no longer sees bearing failure in these vertical pulper gearboxes.
