Charles Ross & Son PDM 10 Mixer Best Protected With Isomag Bearing Isolators

The Charles Ross & Son PDM 10 is a planetary consistency chemical mixer designed to have a unique mixing actions combined to eliminate the need for multiple mixers that this one machine can accomplish. The PDM 10 Mixer is positioned vertically, and needed positive sealing to prevent the loss of lubrication. Before Isomag bearing isolators were introduced, the PDM 10 was using lip seals. However the lip seals only help up for a short amount of time, and wore a groove in the shaft. Charles Ross & Son needed a better solution.

Isomag bearing isolators are unique in that they are both a positive seal but also do not damage the shafts on the host equipment. Charles Ross and Son was introduced to Isomag bearing isolators in 2011, and is currently running today.
